The Golden State Warriors have punched their ticket to the 2024 NBA Playoffs after defeating the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night. The Warriors' win, coupled with losses by the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings, secured them the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference.
The Warriors finished the regular season with a 46-36 record, their best mark since the 2019-20 season. Stephen Curry led the way for Golden State, averaging 29.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game. Klay Thompson also had a strong season, averaging 21.5 points per game.
The Warriors will now face an undetermined opponent in the first round of the playoffs. The No. 3 seed Memphis Grizzlies, No. 4 seed Phoenix Suns, and No. 5 seed Los Angeles Clippers are all possible matchups for Golden State.
The NBA Playoffs begin on Saturday, April 15th. The Warriors will host Game 1 of their first-round series at Chase Center on Sunday, April 16th.
