The 149th running of the Preakness Stakes will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Tickets for the event are now available for purchase through Ticketmaster and the Preakness website.
Ticket prices start at $75 for general admission and go up to $1,000 for premium seating. A limited number of VIP packages are also available, starting at $2,500.
The Preakness Stakes is the second leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, following the Kentucky Derby and preceding the Belmont Stakes. The race is named after Preakness Creek, which runs near the racecourse.
The 2023 Preakness Stakes was won by Early Voting, who upset the heavily favored Epicenter. This year's race is expected to be another competitive one, with several top contenders vying for the victory.
